Liverpool: Mohamed Salah has been excluded from Liverpool’s squad, Apasport.az reports. Salah was not included in the team list for the Champions League Matchday 5 fixture against Inter.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decision to remove the 33-year-old forward from the squad was made jointly by head coach Arne Slot and Liverpool’s management. This decision comes in the wake of Salah’s remarks following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds, during which he openly criticized Slot and the club for their performance.
Salah’s current contract with Liverpool is set to run until mid-2027, making this exclusion a significant development in the player’s tenure with the club.
