Ankara: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, expressed strong condemnation over a missile attack on Trkiye during a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan. The discussion, held on March 13, focused on the escalating security situation in the region.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both ministers addressed the growing tensions and the potential for further military escalation, which they agreed could result in undesirable consequences. Minister Bayramov reiterated Azerbaijan’s support for Trkiye, emphasizing the importance of solidarity between the two countries in these challenging times.
The conversation also covered a range of other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, highlighting the ongoing cooperation and dialogue between Azerbaijan and Trkiye in addressing regional security challenges.
