Aghdam: A minibus overturned on the Aghdam-Fuzuli road, resulting in injuries to 24 individuals. The incident occurred at the 22nd kilometer of the highway and involved a Ford-branded passenger vehicle. Emergency response teams were promptly dispatched to the scene following a call received by the Republican Center for Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid at approximately 08:00.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the injured were transported to central hospitals in the Aghdam and Barda districts. Of the 24 individuals affected, 21 were admitted to Aghdam District Central Hospital, while 3 received treatment in Barda District Central Hospital. The medical staff reported that the injured are in moderately severe condition and are currently undergoing treatment.
The Regional Group of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 20 of the injured are residents of the Baharli settlement. An investigation into the cause of the accident is being conducted by local police officers to determine the circumstances surrounding the vehicle’s overturning.
