Military Parade Held in Baku on Armed Forces Day


Baku: A military parade was held in Baku on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports. The parade took place in the city’s central streets, avenues, and squares, accompanied by military orchestras.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the military march commenced in Baku, with servicemen parading from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The procession covered routes including Heydar Aliyev Palace, Bulbul Avenue, Nizami Cinema Center, Neftchilar Avenue, and Azadlig Square, among others.



Additional routes for the parade included the Alley of Martyrs to Flame Towers Complex, passing through notable locations such as the Icherisheher metro station and the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater. Other paths encompassed areas from Gazanfar Musabeyov Park to Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev Street and Huseyn Javid Avenue.



The event also featured military personnel marching from the Olympic Star Sports and Entertainment Center along Samed Vurgun Street, passing by landmarks like the Baku State Circus and the Imadaddin Nasimi Monument. The parade continued near the Nariman Narimanov Monument, moving through Central Park and past the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater.



It is noted that similar marches are being held in the central streets and avenues of the cities of Ganja, Khankendi, and Lachin.
