Military Institute Hosts NATO Training Program on Teacher Improvement


Baku: The third stage of the Teacher Improvement Training is currently underway at the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev, conducted under the auspices of NATO’s Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP). This initiative is part of the efforts by the National Defense University (NDU) to advance its educational framework, as reported by APA and sourced from the Ministry of Defense.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the training involves the teaching staff of the NDU and its specialized educational institutions, focusing on the “Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development” module. The main aim of this training is to bolster the pedagogical skills and instructional methods of the participants, thereby improving the overall teaching effectiveness and ensuring that educational practices meet internationally recognized standards.



The trainings, which are a significant component of the NATO program, are scheduled to continue until October 3, providing ample time for educators to assimilate new skills and methodologies.
