Yevlakh: A media tour was organized to highlight the ongoing construction work on the section of the Baku-Alat-Gazakh-Georgia state border highway that passes through Yevlakh city.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mahir Babayev, an engineer at the Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads, provided detailed information to the media about the progress of the project. He explained that the pedestrian crossing being constructed will have a total length of 48 meters, 37 meters of which will be covered. Additionally, the access roads, which are 7 meters wide, will extend for a total length of 3.2 kilometers. Babayev noted that the reinforced concrete work on one part of the pedestrian crossing is nearing completion, and 90% of the work on the access roads has been finished, with final touches currently in progress.
On June 23, President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the developments on this section of the highway as it passes through Yevlakh city.
