Kalbajar: A media tour was organized to the Ashagi Vang, Nadirkhanli, and Chaykend small hydropower plants of Az?rEnerji OJSC in the Vang village of Kalbajar district, APA’s local bureau reports. Journalists were provided with detailed information about the operational status and functionalities of these hydropower plants.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the tour follows the recent opening ceremony of these plants, which was attended by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on August 21. The initiative to organize a media tour aims to highlight the strategic importance of these facilities in boosting the region’s renewable energy capabilities.
The Ashagi Vang, Nadirkhanli, and Chaykend plants are part of Az?rEnerji OJSC’s efforts to expand energy infrastructure in the Kalbajar district. By showcasing these plants, the company seeks to emphasize its commitment to sustainable energy solutions and the role of hydropower in meeting local energy demands.
