Manama: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Arzu Aliyeva recently visited the Bahrain-based RAK Art Foundation as part of their trip to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit included a tour of the foundation’s exhibition, which features works by renowned international artists.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the RAK Art Foundation showcases vibrant pieces by Bahraini artists from various generations and art schools. The foundation operates as a non-profit organization, committed to enhancing the global role of artists and fostering international partnerships through exhibitions, events, and collaborative initiatives. It aims to unite art representatives, educate the public, and provide a platform for critical thinking and social dialogue.
In a move to strengthen cultural ties, works from the RAK Art Foundation were displayed to Azerbaijani audiences at an exhibition held in Baku last year. Additionally, the Heydar Aliyev Center hosted an exhibition by Rashid Al Khalifa, the Founder of RAK Art Foundation, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to international cultural exchange.
