Accra:President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov received Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, emphasizing the special nature of allied relations between the two countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Zhaparov highlighted the significance of agreements, including the Treaty on Allied Relations signed during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan in July. These agreements are crucial for the future development of ties between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
Sahiba Gafarova conveyed greetings and best wishes from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to President Zhaparov. She noted the ongoing dynamic development of bilateral relations, particularly in interparliamentary ties, and stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation.
The meeting included discussions on prospects for cooperation in various areas such as trade and economic relations, investment, energy, and transport.
