Doha: Speaker of the Kazakh Parliament Erlan Kochanov has declared Qatar as a key partner, emphasizing Kazakhstan’s steadfast support amidst Israeli military actions. In his address at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, Kochanov highlighted Qatar’s pivotal role in the Middle East and the broader Arab world.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Kochanov praised Qatar for its mediation policies that significantly bolster global stability and security. He acknowledged Qatar’s efforts in fostering trust, dialogue, and peace internationally, noting the widespread recognition these initiatives have received. Kochanov condemned Israel’s military actions against Qatar and reiterated Kazakhstan’s unwavering support.
Kochanov also underscored the importance Kazakhstan places on the unity and solidarity of the Islamic world. He urged for continued pursuit of justice, peace, and sustainable development grounded in shared religious, cultural, and historical values, along with the bonds of brotherhood and friendship.
