Joint Military Exercises ‘Indestructible Brotherhood-2025’ and ‘Mustafa Kemal Atatrk-2025’ Announced in Nakhchivan


Nakhchivan: In accordance with the military cooperation agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, a flag exchange ceremony was held in Nakhchivan as part of the preparations for the “Indestructible Brotherhood-2025” computer-assisted command-staff exercise and the “Mustafa Kemal Atatrk-2025” joint live-fire tactical exercise, APA reports citing Ministry of Defense. The exercises are designed to strengthen military collaboration between the two nations.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony saw the flag platoon march from the Combined Arms Army (CAA) Headquarters towards the Umid Bridge over the Araz river, at the Sadarak border checkpoint. Concurrently, the Turkish flag platoon proceeded from the Doghubeyazit district of Aghri province to the ceremony site. The event included the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Independence March of the Republic of Trkiye before the flag exchange took place.



Following the ceremony, units and military equipment involved in the exercises moved from the border checkpoint to Nakhchivan. The exercise plan outlines that tank, mechanized, and commando units will undertake various training-combat tasks, supported by artillery, air defense, and aviation units.
