Baku: The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group has announced its readiness to provide financial backing for artificial intelligence projects in Azerbaijan. Yasser Alaki, the Director of the Business Development Department at the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), conveyed this commitment to AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Yasser Alaki emphasized the global significance of artificial intelligence, highlighting its importance beyond just Azerbaijan. He stated that the IsDB is prepared to support AI initiatives financially, encouraging Azerbaijani companies to develop relevant projects.
Alaki further mentioned the group’s broader objectives, which include aiding Azerbaijani companies in export expansion, investment attraction, and the enhancement of financial and banking operations. The support offered encompasses a range of services from credit insurance to trade and project financing.
