Baku:Heads of international and foreign national Paralympic committees, in Baku for events marking the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s National Paralympic Committee, visited the Alley of Honors and Alley of Martyrs. They were accompanied by the leadership of Azerbaijan’s National Paralympic Committee.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation first honored Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, by laying flowers at his grave in the Alley of Honors. Aliyev is recognized as the architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state.
Afterward, the delegates proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs, where they paid their respects to the Azerbaijani heroes who lost their lives for the nation’s independence and territorial integrity, placing flowers at their graves.
