Aghdara: Participants of the international conference on “Uniting efforts and enhancing cooperation for addressing the issue of missing persons,” held in Baku, observed the neutralization of mines in the area surrounding a mass grave discovered in Aghdara. They were informed about the mass grave and the regions mined by the Armenian armed forces during the occupation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, as part of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons, the conference participants visited the Aghdara district. The delegation arrived at a mass grave containing the remains of more than 10 Azerbaijani servicemen on a hill that served as a combat position in the village of Balligaya.
The delegation plans to visit the city of Shusha later today. The visit is organized within the framework of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons, hosted by the State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons. The conference, which spans October 9 to 11, will see participants visiting the Balligaya village in Aghdara and traveling to Shusha.
Tomorrow, the event will continue with visits to the regions of Jabrayil and Zangilan.
