Inflation in Azerbaijan Remains Unchanged as Consumer Prices Rise


Baku: In February 2026, consumer prices in Azerbaijan increased by 5.7% compared to February 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee. Last month’s data revealed no change in the overall inflation rate, indicating consistent economic trends in the region.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the inflation rate for specific categories showed a varied picture. Inflation for food products, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products stood at 6.8%. Non-food products experienced a 3.7% increase, while paid services provided to the population saw a rise of 5.7%.



The report further highlighted that the average annual price increase relative to January-February 2025 was 5.7%. Additionally, prices rose by 0.6% over the past month, reflecting ongoing economic stability within the country.
