Aghdam: The Executive Director for the Switzerland Constituency at the International Monetary Fund, Patryk Loszewski, has visited the cities of Aghdam, Khankendi, and Shusha in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports. During the visit, the Executive Director was briefed in detail on the large-scale restoration and reconstruction works underway in Aghdam city, which was completely destroyed during the period of occupation. He was informed about the implementation of the city’s Master Plan, the development of modern infrastructure, as well as measures being carried out within the framework of the Great Return Program for the phased resettlement of the population.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Patryk Loszewski also familiarized himself with the central part of Khankendi city and the operation of its main infrastructure facilities, ongoing restoration and reconstruction works, the establishment of social infrastructure, and efforts to ensure adequate living conditions for residents.
During his visit to Shusha, the guest was provided with extensive information about the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage, the restoration of cultural monuments, as well as ongoing infrastructure and tourism projects. It was noted that Shusha, as Azerbaijan’s cultural capital, plays an important role in the social, cultural, and economic life of the region.
