Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has openly expressed his admiration and pride in his friendship with U.S. President Donald Trump. During an interview with Al-Arabiya TV channel, Aliyev praised Trump for his leadership qualities and his potential to restore America’s global standing.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aliyev remarked on Trump’s unique approach to leadership, stating his belief that Trump will not only succeed in making America great again but also restore its admiration on the global stage. Aliyev highlighted America’s past status as a symbol of prosperity, freedom, and development and expressed confidence that Trump could bring those qualities back.
Aliyev also touched on Trump’s ability to bring peace to various global hotspots, citing the strong resistance Trump faces from established systems. He emphasized that despite these challenges, Trump’s authenticity shone through, particularly in moments of crisis, such as an assassination attempt. Aliyev described Trump as a brave man and a great leader, underscoring his pride in being considered a friend by the U.S. President.
