Baku: Azerbaijan will host the 13th World Urban Forum, marking it as the second-largest event at the UN level. Thousands of representatives from around the world are expected to attend, as announced by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration. During a statement to journalists, Hajiyev highlighted the significance of this event, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajiyev emphasized the opportunities and experiences that Azerbaijan aims to present to the international community. He noted that Azerbaijan, a country actively involved in restoring and rebuilding in a post-conflict setting, is applying modern methodologies and urban planning approaches to revitalize numerous cities, villages, and settlements. Hajiyev expressed confidence that Azerbaijan’s efforts would offer a successful experience worthy of sharing with the global community.
