High-Level Officials from Rwanda and Zimbabwe Explore Innovative Public Service Solutions at ASAN Khidmet Center

Baku: High-level delegations led by Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation and Zimbabwe’s Chief Secretary visited the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ Center to learn about its innovative public service solutions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the officials were briefed on the activities of the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ Centers, which were established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev. These centers have gained international recognition, becoming an intellectual brand exported to over 30 countries due to their advanced solutions in public service delivery.

During their meeting, the Rwandan delegation highlighted the importance of a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation signed in June between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan and the Rwanda Development Board. This agreement focuses on establishing a mechanism for providing advanced public services, with plans for a delegation from the State Agency to visit Rwanda to assess the implementation of the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ experience.

The Zimbabwean delegation recalled the visit of Zimbabwe’s President to the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ Center in November last year and proposed signing a Memorandum of Understanding soon to implement the ‘ASAN Khidmet’ concept in Zimbabwe. They also showed interest in studying the ‘ASAN Khidmet Index.’

The delegations further explored the workings of the ‘INNOLAND’ Incubation and Acceleration Center, Mobile ASAN Khidmet, the ‘ABAD’ Public Legal Entity, and the ‘Bilim Baku’ Center.
