Head of State Confirms Trade Relations Established Between Azerbaijan and Armenia


Baku: “Trade relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia have already been established,” announced President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with a U.S. delegation. The meeting, which took place on January 4, was reported by APA.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev described the agreements as historic, highlighting the significant role U.S. President Donald Trump played in facilitating these developments. President Aliyev also reiterated Azerbaijan’s commitment to promoting regional peace. He mentioned that Azerbaijani oil products are now being exported to Armenia, and that wheat from Kazakhstan and Russia is being transported to Armenia through Azerbaijani territory.
