Baku: President of the Hellenic Republic Constantine An. Tassoulas has addressed a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s national holiday, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter extended the Greek President’s warmest congratulations to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan. Tassoulas expressed heartfelt wishes for peace, progress, and prosperity for Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance Greece places on its developing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan. These relations have evolved into a multifaceted partnership over the years.
The Greek President expressed confidence in further strengthening bilateral relations, highlighting the benefits for both nations while maintaining full respect for international law and principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity. He concluded the letter by reiterating his warm wishes and expressing his highest consideration for President Aliyev.
