Baku:President Ilham Aliyev announced that the Great Return will accelerate in the coming years, highlighting the current developments in Garabagh and East Zangezur.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev, speaking at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party, reported that 96,000 people are currently living, working, or studying in these regions.
He further noted that 28 billion manats have been invested in the development of Garabagh and East Zangezur, with the majority of funds allocated to infrastructure projects. Most of these projects are now completed, facilitating the settlement of former internally displaced persons in 48 residential areas.
