Horovlu: The next relocation convoy has arrived in the village of Horovlu in the Jabrayil district, APA reports. A total of 38 families, comprising 139 people, were resettled in Horovlu village today. The residents were presented with the keys to their new homes, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing Great Return initiative.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, representatives from the Special Presidential Envoy’s Office in the Jabrayil, Qubadli, and Zangilan districts, alongside employees of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and other officials, participated in the key-handover ceremony. The families received their keys and settled into their homes as part of President Ilham Aliyev’s directives to continue the Great Return to territories liberated from occupation.
Under this program, the latest resettlement convoy has successfully transported families who had been temporarily housed in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings. The residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care afforded to them.
Additionally, the families conveyed their appreciation to the Azerbaijani Army, acknowledging the heroic efforts of soldiers and officers who played a crucial role in liberating the lands from occupation. They also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in this cause, praying for mercy upon them.
