Grain and Fertilizers Successfully Transited from Russia to Armenia Via Azerbaijan


Baku: Today, an additional shipment of fertilizer weighing 272 tons in four railcars and grain weighing 420 tons in six railcars was dispatched from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the fertilizer and grain were sent from the Bilajari station toward the Boyuk Kesik direction. This shipment is part of an ongoing operation involving several consignments sent from Russia to Armenia. Previously, more than 25,000 tons of grain, over 3,000 tons of fertilizer, and 68 tons of buckwheat have been transported through this route.



In addition to these shipments, Azerbaijan continues to export petroleum products to Armenia. To date, over 8,500 tons of diesel, 979 tons of AI-92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia, facilitating regional trade and cooperation between the neighboring countries.
