The S and P 500 index saw an increase of 1.81%, reaching 5,363.36 points, while the Nasdaq index increased by 2.06%, reaching 16,724.46 points.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, European stock markets presented a different picture. The FTSE 100 index experienced a rise of 0.64%, reaching 7,964.18 points. However, France’s CAC-40 index decreased by 0.30%, reaching 7,104.80 points, and Germany’s DAX index dropped by 0.92%, settling at 20,374.10 points.
In the global currency markets, the euro saw an increase in its exchange rate against the dollar by 1.37%, reaching 1.1355 USD. This shift in the currency exchange rate reflects broader economic changes impacting the global financial landscape.
