Global Stock Markets Experience Significant Decline Amid Investor Concerns

In the US, the Dow Jones index decreased by 542.40 points or 1.23% to 43,588.58 points, the S and P 500 index decreased by 101.38 points or 1.60% to 6,238.01 points, and the Nasdaq Composite index decreased by 472.32 points or 2.24% to 20,550.13 points. Additionally, the NYSE Composite index decreased by 190.75 points or 0.93% to 20,267.69 points, and the S and P/TSX Composite index decreased by 239.35 points or 0.88% to 27,020.43 points.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the downward trend in European markets also continued. The Euro Stoxx 50 index fell 154.32 points, or 2.90%, to 5,165.60 points, the FTSE 100 index fell 64.23 points, or 0.70%, to 9,068.58 points, and the DAX index fell 639.50 points, or 2.66%, to 23,425.97 points.
