Baku: A decision has been adopted on the establishment of the Global South Youth Platform, APA reports. The decision was made within the framework of the international Youth Forum titled ‘Strengthening the Role of Youth in the Post-Colonial Era,’ organized by the Baku Initiative Group.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the announcement was made following the successful conclusion of the two-day International Youth Forum. Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, expressed honor in officially announcing the establishment of the Global South-East Platform.
The forum highlighted the importance of youth engagement in the post-colonial context, aiming to empower young leaders from the Global South. The newly established platform is expected to provide a collaborative space for youth to address shared challenges and opportunities in their regions.
