German Traveler Impressed by Rapid Restoration in Aghdam

Aghdam: A German traveler, Karl Kuffner, has expressed his amazement at the swift restoration efforts in Aghdam, Azerbaijan. Kuffner, who is visiting the region with a group of international travelers, shared his observations with APA, noting the significant transformations since his last visit in 2021.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kuffner remarked on the drastic changes in the landscape and infrastructure. “I am very glad to be here. I came here in 2021. At that time, everything here was in a destroyed state. Even then, I observed the plan of work to be done here. Now, it is very pleasant to witness the completed work and other construction works, and to see people living in peace,” he stated. He highlighted the improvements in roads and bridges and expressed relief over the removal of mines, which posed a danger during his previous visit.

Kuffner’s experience underscores the rapid pace of redevelopment in Aghdam, a city that has seen extensive reconstruction efforts. The traveler’s reflections offer a testament to the ongoing progress and resilience in the region.
