Istanbul: Galatasaray suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat against Liverpool in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the match not only saw Galatasaray’s exit from the competition but also unfortunate injuries to key players Victor Osimhen and Noa Lang. Osimhen, who had to be substituted at the beginning of the second half, was diagnosed with a fracture in his right arm, which will sideline him for an unspecified period.
Additionally, Noa Lang, who came on as a substitute in the second half, sustained a serious cut on his right thumb. He underwent surgery following the injury, adding further woes to Galatasaray’s campaign.
