Funding for Reconstruction of Liberated Territories in Azerbaijan’s 2026 Budget Announced


Baku: Next year, AZN 6,202,488,300 will be allocated for construction and urban development, APA reports, citing the draft law ‘On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026.’



According to Azeri-Press news agency, of this amount, AZN 2,700,000,000 is planned for state capital investment (investment expenditures), while AZN 3,500,000,000 will be directed to the reconstruction and restoration of territories liberated from occupation.



The announcement highlights Azerbaijan’s commitment to rebuilding and developing areas that have been freed, aiming to revitalize and enhance the infrastructure and living conditions in these regions. The substantial allocation underscores the government’s priority towards these reconstruction efforts as a significant component of the national budget for 2026.
