A fire broke out in the bolide driven by Ritomo Miyata, the pilot of the Rodin Motorsport team at the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, APA reports.
The incident happened after the bolide crashed into the barrier during the sprint race.
Miyata stopped fighting.
