Baku: Former British Prime Minister Theresa May urged governments to support businesses in addressing climate change during the “COP29 Business, Investment, and Philanthropy Climate Platform” event. The event, organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), was part of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) held in Baku.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, May highlighted the significance of financial discussions at COP29, emphasizing the role of governments in encouraging businesses and individuals to achieve climate change goals. She stressed that meeting these goals is crucial not only for the preservation of nature but also for the survival of humanity.
