Khankendi: Commemorative events were held in the city of Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara districts on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts told APA’s Karabakh bureau. At 12:00, as in the entire territory of Azerbaijan, a minute of silence was observed in Khankendi, Khojaly, and Aghdara to commemorate the martyrs of January 20.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, traffic and pedestrian traffic were stopped in the city. The martyrs were remembered with the sound of car horns, and flags were lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect and remembrance.
