Baku: First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has taken to her social media platforms to share details about a pivotal meeting held in Washington. This meeting involved the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the gathering culminated in the signing of a Joint Declaration by the President of Azerbaijan, the President of the United States, and the Prime Minister of Armenia. This event marked the initialing of a peace agreement, which is an important stride towards achieving a comprehensive peace settlement.
In her post, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on what she described as a historic occasion. She conveyed her hopes for enduring peace and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the liberation of Azerbaijani lands. She concluded her message with a prayer for the continued protection of Azerbaijan.
