Fifteen Drones Spotted Over Elsenborn Military Base in Belgium

Baku: Fifteen drones flew over the Elsenborn military base in Belgium last night, raising concerns and prompting an investigation by the Ministry of Defence. The incident, which occurred around 1:45 a.m., was reported after the drones were accidentally detected during a test.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed the sighting and is currently investigating the origins and intentions behind the drone activity. The Elsenborn military base, a 28-square-kilometre military zone located near the German border, is a key site for military training and shooting exercises conducted by the Belgian Ministry of Defence.

The drones, believed to have traveled from Belgium to Germany, were also spotted by police in Dren, across the border. As investigations continue, the Ministry of Defence is working to determine the source of the drones and their purpose, which remains unknown at this time.

In reaction to the incident, Daniel Franzen, the mayor of Btgenbach, stated that he was unaware of the drone activity until this morning. He mentioned that a drone had been previously used in the area for a search operation concerning a stray horse, but it is uncertain if there is any connection between the two events.
