Adana: Fenerbah§e visited Adana Demirspor in the 20th week of the Trendyol Super League, achieving a 4-0 victory and reducing the point difference with league leader Galatasaray to 6.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Fenerbah§e was effective in the opening phase of the match, coming close to scoring in the 24th minute. Fred delivered a cross from the right side of the opponent’s penalty area, targeting En-Nesyri on the goal line. However, En-Nesyri’s attempt struck the crossbar, and the Adana Demirspor defense managed to clear the danger.
Fenerbah§e initially took the lead in the 50th minute with a goal by Youssef En-Nesyri, but it was later disallowed following a VAR review. The goal originated from a pass by Irfan Can Kahveci, who received the ball from Maestro in midfield and played it forward to Edin Dzeko. Dzeko then connected with En-Nesyri, who scored. However, Adana Demirspor’s technical team and players protested, claiming a foul on Maestro. Referee Halil Umut Meler, after a warning from VAR referee Sandi Putros, reviewed the play and disallowed the goal due to the foul.
