According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the meeting, cooperation ties established between Azerbaijani and Chinese companies in the energy sector were discussed, and views were exchanged on opportunities to develop the existing partnership and implement new joint projects. Representatives of CNOOC expressed their interest in participating in energy projects implemented in Azerbaijan. During the discussions, potential projects in the oil and gas sector and the field of ‘green’ energy, including possible energy projects in the Caspian Sea, were discussed.
