Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that the Russia-Ukraine war carries the risk of increasingly spiraling out of control, APA’s Trkiye bureau reports. Erdogan noted that the situation is becoming more tense due to mutual attacks and expressed Trkiye’s desire for the conflict to end swiftly with a just and sustainable peace.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the president emphasized that Trkiye has no intention of profiting from conflicts. Erdogan stated, “We are a country that has established sustainable relations in terms of security. We are ready to take on any responsibility to open the way to peace. We sincerely emphasize this reality at every opportunity. We do not seek to gain a role, put on a show, or profit from blood, tears, and oppression. We have never had a concept of benefiting from conflicts.”
