Deputy Minister: All energy that’s going to be consumed in Garabagh will come from green sources

“Shusha is a place with a unique place on the energy map,” the Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Elnur Soltanov said during his speech at “The importance of energy efficiency in modern urban planning – Shusha model” panel, APA reports.

According to him, the most effective distribution system was implemented in Shusha in connection with its territory.

“All the energy that will be consumed in Garabagh will come from green sources. The insulation system of buildings in Shusha is the most important link in all value chains. 3 and 5 kV LED lights were used in the city, solar panels are being built. Limited amount of gas will be used there within the conception of green energy. Until the very end, we tried our best to prevent the lack of natural gas in Shusha. In the end we decided to use very little natural gas,” the Deputy Minister added.
