Beirut: The death toll in Lebanon due to ongoing Israeli attacks has reached 2,795, as reported by the country’s Ministry of Health. The Israeli Air Force and drones have conducted continuous strikes on settlements in southern Lebanon since May 9, resulting in the deaths of 36 civilians and injuries to 74 others in the past 24 hours.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Health released a statement on the social network X, indicating that since the beginning of the military escalation on March 2, the total number of wounded individuals has reached 8,586. The Ministry emphasized that rescue operations are ongoing, with efforts concentrated in the areas of Nabatieh, Saida, and Tyre, where debris clearing continues. It is anticipated that the number of casualties and injuries could rise by the end of the day.
