David Babayan Reveals Use of Armenian Passport for International Travel

Baku: During the ongoing trial at the Baku Military Court, defendant David Babayan disclosed that he traveled abroad using an Armenian passport while serving as the ‘Minister of Foreign Affairs’ for the illegitimate entity established in the formerly occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Babayan emphasized that he utilized an Armenian passport for his international travels. He further noted that some officials of the so-called regime held diplomatic passports, which, like ordinary passports, were issued by Armenia.

The trial involves Armenian citizens accused of serious crimes, including crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes such as waging an aggressive war, genocide, violations of the laws and customs of war, terrorism, financing of terrorism, and violent seizure of power. The proceedings continue as these allegations are addressed in court.
