Baku: In 2025, the volume of transactions carried out with credit cards in Azerbaijan amounted to 9.483 billion manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. This figure increased by 8%, or 699 million manats, compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the reporting period, 5.473 billion manats of credit card transactions were conducted via e-commerce, 2.176 billion manats via POS terminals, 1.473 billion manats via ATMs, and 358 million manats through transactions carried out abroad.
As of January 1, 2026, the number of credit cards in the country stood at 2.077 million.
