Court Proceedings of Armenian Nationals Progress with Document Announcements

Baku: The open court hearing on the criminal cases involving Armenian citizens continued on October 10, featuring the announcement of numerous documents associated with the cases.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the court presented facts and statistical data collected from various public agencies. These documents detailed criminal cases, civilian casualties, missing persons, and damage inflicted on civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, the environment, and religious and cultural monuments due to Armenian armed forces’ actions against Azerbaijani territories.

The documents revealed during the hearing were sourced from diverse ministries, committees, agencies, and executive authorities from districts and cities, as well as other Azerbaijani institutions. The ongoing court proceedings target Armenian nationals charged with serious offenses, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, aggression, terrorism, and violations of the laws of war. The charges further encompass the financing of terrorism, the violent seizure and retention of power, and other significant crimes.
