The delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been on a visit to Bangkok from September 18 to September 20 to participate in the 6th Congress of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) on the topic of “Strengthening Constitutional Justice for Sustainable Society,” the the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan told APA.
At the conclusion of the Congress, the Bangkok Declaration was adopted. The Declaration states that the Constitutional Courts of Asian countries that are members of the Association express their best wishes for the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Azerbaijan. The Constitutional Courts recognize the importance of such international events in enhancing societal knowledge in this area, including issues related to sustainable development and climate change.
As part of the Congress, speeches were delivered on several legal issues related to constituti
onal justice, and exchanges of ideas took place.
