Conflict with Ukraine Could End Soon Without Ammunition, Says Putin

Moscow: The conflict with Ukraine could conclude in just a month or two if Kyiv exhausts its ammunition supply, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced, APA reports quoting TASS. Putin emphasized the critical role of ammunition and financial support in sustaining Ukraine’s defense efforts, suggesting that the lack of these resources would lead to a swift resolution of the conflict.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Putin remarked on Ukraine’s limited sovereignty in the current situation. He indicated that Ukraine’s ability to sustain its military efforts heavily depends on the continuous support from Western allies. Putin also highlighted that a peaceful resolution could be achieved if Western countries, particularly the United States, showed a willingness to engage in peace talks. He mentioned having previously sent signals to former US President Joe Biden, suggesting that legal obstacles to negotiations could be easily overcome if there was a genuine desire for peace.

Putin’s comments reflect ongoing tensions and the complex geopolitical dynamics surrounding the conflict. The Russian leader’s statements suggest that the resolution of the conflict largely hinges on external factors, including the support and decisions of Western nations involved in backing Ukraine.
