BAKU: The primary objective of the Baku Climate Action Week is to inform farmers about climate change and to implement coordinated and tangible steps that align global climate initiatives, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said on the second day of the Baku Climate Action Week, Trend reports.
“We are considering holding this event annually. The focus of this initiative is farmers, who are the most affected by climate change,” he emphasized.
To note, the Climate Action Week runs from September 30 through October 4, 2024, and is being held in Baku for the first time.
