Baku: Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, has expressed his congratulations to Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in a letter commemorating Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Radev emphasized the strong friendship and strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. He highlighted the fruitful cooperation and mutual respect that form the foundation of their bilateral relations. The letter also referenced recent meetings and discussions, including Radev’s visit to Baku and sessions at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which have maintained an active political dialogue between the two nations.
Additionally, President Radev expressed optimism about implementing the Shusha Park project in Veliko Tarnovo, which symbolizes the friendly relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. He concluded by wishing President Aliyev good health and success in his duties, extending his highest regards.
