Budapest: A cultural-musical event, featuring performances by the Turkic Youth Ensemble, was recently held at the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center. This center is a collaborative initiative by the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) and E¶tv¶s Lor¡nd University (ELTE) in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The event was designed to promote the musical heritage of Turkic peoples and to foster exchange and unity among Turkic youth.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was opened by Fargana Bayramli, Head of the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center. She emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for enhancing mutual language, cultural ties, and youth integration, which are key aspects of the cooperation between ELTE and AUL.
Timea Janurik, who heads the Turkic Youth Ensemble, highlighted the importance of introducing young people to the musical traditions of different cultures. She noted that this exposure broadens their creative perspectives and significantly strengthens friendly relations among Turkic nations.
The event’s program featured national music samples from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Hungary, and Kazakhstan, showcasing the rich and varied musical traditions of these countries.
