Baku: British Embassy in Baku awarded the winners of the Women in Architecture Competition, Trend reports, citing the embassy. The competition aimed to engage female students from the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts in tackling the issue of water scarcity in urban environments.
According to Trend News Agency, the competition was organized in collaboration with prominent architectural firms Zaha Hadid Architects, Chapman Taylor Architects, and Scott Brownrigg. The initiative is part of the K-1 partnership, emphasizing women’s education, empowerment, and leadership in the architectural field. The embassy expressed gratitude towards its partners and participants for their contributions and congratulated the winners on their achievements via a social media post.
