According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aslanbayli stated that the key determinants for reaching peak production will include the progress of drilling operations, as well as reservoirs, water, and pressure indicators. These variables will play a critical role in determining the timeline and capacity of peak production at the ACE platform.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli further revealed that the average daily production at the ACE platform from three wells was approximately 25 thousand barrels during the second quarter of the current year. The platform’s performance is being closely monitored to optimize production levels.
The final investment decision for the ACE project was made in 2019, and the first oil from the platform was produced in 2024. The agreement on the joint development and production sharing of the ACG was initially signed on September 20, 1994. It was subsequently amended, revised, and re-signed on September 14, 2017. The current production sharing arrangement involves several stakeholders, with BP holding a 30.37% operating interest, AzACG (SOCAR) at 31.65%, MOL at 9.57%, Inpex at 9.31%, ExxonMobil at 6.79%, TPAO at 5.73%, Itochu at 3.65%, and ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL) at 2.92%.
